Joint Monitoring Committee under - IPA CBC programme (CCI Number 2007CB16IPO007) held a meeting on 30.03.2012 in the town Berovo .

The meeting was opened by two co-chairmen's Mr. Sasho Lazarovski Deputy Minister of Local Government and Mr. Nicholay Nankov Deputy Minister of Regional Development and Public Works . Mrs. Anna Repulo - Grau representative of DG "Regional Policy" European Commission has also participated on the meeting.

The topic of the meeting was comparative review of results from the second call for project proposals under the program, analysis of the current projects under the first call and discussion about the preparation of the third call for project proposals.

On the meeting 21 projects worth around 5.5 million were approved for financing under the 2nd call. Joint Monitoring Committee also decides to approve the additional 12 projects totaling over 3 million which will be contracted after final approval of the financial parameters for 2012 by the European Commission.
