IPA CBC Programme BG-MK - CCI 2007CB16IPO007 within the celebration of the European Cooperation Day 2014 organized Photography competition ‘The beauty of the cross border region”. Competition is open from 28.07.2014 to 17.09.2014 and it interested amateur or professional photographers can participate with their own images in all categories (landscape, people, events and other) recorded in the territory of the cross border region. The winning photographs along with selected photographs will be on display at the exhibition which will be organized in September as part of the celebration of the European Cooperation Day.

  Official Contest Rules of the Photography Competition ‘The beauty of the cross border region”:

1. Photography competition organizer is JTS IPA CBC Programme BG-MK (hereinafter referred to as the Organizer) under the patronage of the Managing Authority - Ministry of Regional Development of the Republic of Bulgaria and National Authority - Ministry for Local Self Government of the Republic of Macedonia.
2. The competition is open from 28.07.2014 to 17.09.2014.
3. Competition has a theme: "The beauty of the cross border region", a photos can be in the following categories: landscapes, people, events and other, the only requirement is that they are made in the cross-border region (North-East, East and South-East Region in Macedonia and District of Kyustendil and District of Blagoevgrad in Bulgaria).
4. Photos for competition are accepted from 28.07.2014 to 05.09.2014 on e-mail: thebeautyofcbr@gmail.com.
5. The jury of experts will decide on the winners of 06.09.2014 to 15.09.2014.
6. Public voting for the best photos via the website will be done on the Facebook page JTS IPA CBC Programme. The jury of experts and votes of visitors will determine finalists who will be voted by 06 to 14.09.2014 year. Finalist whose photo receives the highest votes of visitors in this period will be declared the winning photo contest of the audience. Each user can assign up to one vote for one photo.
7. Photos must be in electronic format: JPEG, minimum width of 300 pixels, the maximum size to 5 MB. Are permitted only colour and sharpness correction. Photos that they had other types of interventions will not be accepted.
8. One participant may enter the competition an unlimited number of photos.
9. The organizer reserves the right to accept or reject any image considers that fits the theme of the competition or which technically does not meet the minimum criteria that determine the contest, without additional explanation. It is forbidden to set the (sending) photo offensive or pornographic content.
10. The organizer is not obliged to be participants whose phographs accepted for photo contest send an email with notification of acceptance of photography.
11. The professional jury will select the winning photo contest, and the winning photograph (of 4 photos)
12. Awards will be officially awarded in September 2014 to exhibitions within the celebration of the European Cooperation Day. The winning authors and photos will be posted on the website of the IPA Progremme. .
13. Photos that participants must be sent to royalties, and they need to be the authors of these photos. Those who upload photos to the contest must have a vested copyright in the photograph by the applicable copyright laws. It is strictly prohibited to copy such content without permission. The organizer disclaims liability for violation of the rights of a third party. If you suspect that someone organizer sets the photo on which no rights may require additional proof of authorship or without further explanation erase the work of the competition. The participant must be willing to submit to the request from the high resolution photo.
14. The organizer has the right to use all photo published in any form and in any medium. In doing so, the organizer of the attempt to identify the name of the author, but if it does not match the editorial board of another media do so. In this use Organizer is released from any claims made by the author of the photographs in the competition.
15. The use of any kind of computer code, viruses, or anything that may interfere with, disable, harm or abuse the voting is prohibited. Such actions may lead to the elimination of participants from the competition and / or a ban on voting him who has violated these rules. If the estimate or suspects that some of the participants in any way fabricated voices (sudden changes in the number of votes, any indication of manipulation), the organizer reserves the right to disqualify them from the competition and ignore their voices without further explanation.
16. Post comments and discussions are allowed during the competition, if the limits of decency and not offend the racial, religious, ethnic, sexual or any other discrimination.
17. Failure to comply with the above rules shall be subject to disqualification from the photo contest.
18. If you set your photo in the photo contest, you accept the conditions set forth in the preceding paragraph.
19. All complaints and claims resolved the competition organizer. Complaints may be sent electronically to the contact address: thebeautyofcbr@gmail.com within 24 hours from the time of publication of the winner. The organizer is obliged to set up an appeal to consider and respond to them 2 working days after the deadline for submitting an appeal.
