Тhe Joint Monitoring Committee of the Cross-Border Cooperation Programme CCI Number 2007CB16IPO007 funded by the Instrument for Pre-Accession Assistance, will hold a session on 30.03.2012 in the town of Berovo. The session will be held for approval for funding projects under the Second Call for project proposals.

The Bulgarian co-chairman of the Joint Monitoring Committee is Mr. Nikolay Nankov - Deputy Minister of Regional Development and from Macedonian side is Mr. Sasho Lazarovski - Deputy Minister of Local Self Government.

Mrs. Anna Repullo - Grau, representative of DG Regional Policy of the European Commission will also take part in the meeting.

Projects proposed for funding are worth around 9 million Euros, as they aim to provide opportunities for joint initiatives and practices for economic and social cohesion and improving the quality of life in the cross-border region.
