Тhe Joint Monitoring Committee under the Cross-Border Cooperation Programme CCI N2007CB16IPO007 funded by the Instrument for Pre-Accession Assistance, will hold a session on 10.10.2013 in the city of Blagoevgrad. The session will be held for approval for funding projects under the Third Call for project proposals.

The Bulgarian co-chairperson of the Joint Monitoring Committee is Mrs. Klementina Deneva–Secretary general at the Ministry of Regional development of the Republic of Bulgaria and from Macedonian side is Mrs. Mjellma Mehmeti - Peterson – State councilor for European Integration at the Ministry of Local Self-Government, IPA CBC Coordinator.

Mrs. Ann- Jasmin Krabatsch, representative of DG Regional Policy of the European Commission will also take part in the meeting.

Projects proposed for funding are worth around 3 million Euros, as they aim to provide opportunities for joint initiatives and practices for economic and social cohesion and improving the quality of life in the cross-border region.
